Move over cronuts, the wonut has arrived

That’s waffle-donut. And it looks stupidly delicious.

YOU THOUGHT THE cronut was crazy? You think Burger King’s bacon sundae might even have been a step too far? Then you won’t be ready for the wonut.

The Waffles Café in Chicago have whipped up the waffle-donut, or wonut, much to the delight of sweet-lovers everywhere.

It’s made with a slightly thicker waffle batter that’s cooked in a waffle iron before being deep fried, then glazed like a donut. Thrillist reports that the result is a “happy medium” between waffle and donut – crispy on the outside, cakey and fluffy on the inside.

They look almost too tasty. But we know that can’t be possible.

Mmm

The best part is they’re only small, so they can’t be THAT bad for you. Like, not at all.
